Jeff Rupp, President & Chief Operating Officer
Jeff Rupp is President and Chief Operating Officer of Ajilon Consulting in North America, leading provider of a full suite of customized IT consulting and workforce solutions.
Rupp is responsible for leading the firm’s strategy and operations, overseeing a team of the best and brightest IT consultants to help organizations overcome their most critical technology challenges.
Rupp joined Ajilon Consulting in 2000 to lead the firm’s project delivery model which is focused on providing clients with outstanding expertise and service across all areas of IT staffing and project consulting. With
over 25 years of management and consulting experience, Rupp has worked with a wide range of Fortune 500 companies helping to build the right solutions for their unique technology needs. Prior to joining Ajilon
Consulting, Rupp held executive level positions at organizations including IBM, KPMG and Synertec Systems.
He is a graduate of West Chester University with Bachelor’s of Science degree in Education.
Carl Deal, SVP
Carl is currently responsible for the operation of Ajilon’s Professional Services business across North America. Prior to Carl’s current position he served as Vice President, Client Solutions Executive for Ajilon Consulting with responsibility for the Insurance and Healthcare vertical markets.
Carl has extensive experience in the Commercial Software, Service, Manufacturing and Insurance industries. In addition to his industry vertical expertise he has held several key executive technology management positions and has served as CIO for two major FORTUNE 500 Corporations.
Carl has a solid background in Strategic & Tactical Planning, Commercial Software Development, Cost Management, Systems Migrations and Major Systems Implementations as well as significant expertise in major business re-engineering efforts. Carl has broad technology experience in architectures spanning large mainframe environments through distributed web based technologies.
Carl has a Bachelor’s Degree from Miami University and a Master’s of Business Administration from Xavier University. He has served on several community & charitable boards and is listed in the Outstanding Young Men of America and the Who’s Who of Information Technology.
Robert Knight, SVP National Sales
Robert Knight has more than 20 years of experience within the IT industry, and has been responsible for the creation, sales and delivery of complex IT solutions and services. He has held leadership positions managing large organizations for Fortune 100 companies. Prior to joining Ajilon Consulting, Robert was responsible for building a global assessment practice for StorageTek which involved developing the resources, methodology, pricing, sales and delivery model of an ILM assessment service that is sold to C-level clients throughout the world.
Robert was also with HP Services for 10 years serving as a Software Consultant, Program Manager, and National Practice Manager for Storage Services. Along with earning many technical certifications (MCSE, CCNP, ITIL), he also possesses Department of Defense Secret, Top Secret and SCI clearance levels. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Computer Systems with a minor in Economics from New Mexico State University, and has a Master of Business Administration degree from Colorado Technical University.
Walt Strausbaugh, SVP Field Operations
Walt has more than 25 years of experience in the IT industry and has been with Ajilon since 1982. In that time, he built a solid reputation as a respected leader, manager, and team player capable of performing diverse tasks and managing multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
Walt is an innovative thinker with broad-based expertise in operation, finance and business development. He has proven experience in mergers and acquisitions, as well as budget/P&L management, and has been a member of Ajilon’s Executive Management Team for over 12 years.
Walt is on the Board of Directors of the Mid-Penn Motion AAU Basketball Organization, a member of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society – Central PA Chapter and a basketball coach. He graduated from Millersville University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and earned a Masters in Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University.
Marty Sylvester, SVP Recruiting
Marty Sylvester has over 30 years experience working within the IT industry and has been with Ajilon Consulting for over 17 of those years. Marty has recently taken over the recruiting efforts for the entire company and has developed a number of recruiting and retention initiatives to build upon the best and brightest employees for the company. Previously, he was responsible for running the northeast region comprised of 13 districts offices and a budget of over $200 million dollars.
Prior to joining Ajilon Consulting, Marty was involved in a start-up IT consulting business where he led all aspects of operations including sales, recruiting, and management of consultants including working as a billable consultant. Marty also worked as a technical consultant on a number of engagements specializing in the health care and manufacturing verticals.
Thomas McKenty, SVP Northeast
Tom McKenty currently oversees Ajilon Consulting’s field operations across the Northeast United States. Prior to this assignment, he led the company’s Midwest Region. Tom leads a cross-functional team whose goal is to help Ajilon Consulting Clients achieve their business objectives through the appropriate use of Information Technology.
An experienced, sales-oriented leader; Tom has been with Ajilon Consulting since 1993. Initially starting as an Account Manager, he has progressed with the company through several positions of increasing scope and responsibility. Tom has been in the Information Technology industry for over 25 years. Prior to joining Ajilon Consulting, Tom held various sales and sales management positions with Burroughs, Unisys and Zitel. His more than two decades of experience have afforded Tom the opportunity to help implement cost effective IT solutions in many diverse industries including; Manufacturing, Financial Services, Healthcare and Automotive. Tom holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
Matthew J Ripaldi, SVP South Region
Matthew Ripaldi currently oversees Ajilon Consulting’s field operations across the South and Southeast Regions of the United States. He is responsible for ten district offices with a combined annual budget of over $80 million. Previously, Matthew served as the Regional Vice President for the New York City, New Jersey and Delaware Valley Region overseeing three district offices and two large MSP client engagements.
A passionate, recruiter-oriented leader, Matthew has been with the Adecco Group since 1999. He started as a Technical Recruiter for Adecco TAD Technical and then progressed into a management role while opening an office in the Boston market. In 2002, Matthew was tasked with opening and leading an Adecco Technical office in New York City that experienced considerable growth year-over-year. In 2006, he was charged with the integration of the Ajilon Consulting and Adecco Technical offices in the New York City market. His 10 years of experience and unique background, both in the field and within client-based programs, allows Matthew to fully understand our clients’ needs and be able to design, implement, deliver and support the right solution.
Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern New Hampshire University where he also enjoyed a successful basketball career playing for the Division II, nationally recognized, Penmen. Matthew resides in Houston, TX.
